Here is an interesting vaguely worked email if I have ever seen one that made me snort out loud when it was sent to me.
One of my employees got this error when trying to clean up a former employee’s mailbox in Office365! These types of errors always make me wonder who proof reads the language before it is baked into the final software.
What is the fix for this issue, if anyone knows or has and idea, a quick comment below would be ideal. We did not figure it out based on this message. The message is vague at best and seems to me to have a logic catch twenty-two. The cause of the error was following a recommended fix per a Microsoft tech support blog that would automatically clear out the inbox, folders and settings for an email inbox. This is using MS power-shell to run a script to delete the contents of the inbox. If the process worked, it would be a ten fold increase in speed. The solution that is being employed today is one of changing the password, then logging into the account, then selecting all of the email and deleting it, then emptying the trash folder. At this time the mailbox is prepped and ready to go.
Let me know if you have other funny or not so funny error messages.
